Items We Do Not Accept

Furniture

• Furniture with excessive wear (rips, tears, any stains or broken pieces)
• Leather furniture with excessive cracking or stains/discoloration on the head cushion or arms
• Queen or smaller mattresses and box springs with any stains, rips, tears, or other signs of excessive wear (take covers off to look)
• Any box springs without the mattress
• King size mattresses and box springs
• China cabinets and closets, armoires, and entertainment centers
• Rugs larger than 5×7
• Sleep Number bed mattresses and modular bases
• Medical platform beds
• Sleeper sofas (trundle beds are fine)
• Motorized recliner sofas (single-side recline only) that do not come apart (back comes off)
• Recliner sofas, motorized or not, with the recliner on both sides
• Outdoor furniture and patio umbrellas with excessive wear, rust, or broken pieces
• While we will still accept certain flowered couches, text a photo of any flowered couches for approval
• Dresser or chest mirrors unless they are donated with the piece of furniture for which they attach

Electronics, Equipment and Appliances

• Built-in household appliances, such as cooktops, dishwashers, microwaves, and ovens (free-standing appliances are fine if clean and working)
• Large chest refrigerators and freezers
• Tube TVs (non-flat screen)
• TVs, electronics, computers, printers and peripherals that do not work
• Printers
• Pianos and organs (electronic keyboards are fine if fully functional)
• Large or heavy exercise equipment that cannot be moved by one person easily, such as treadmills, stationary bikes, weight benches with weights, elliptical machines, and stair steppers
• Gas grills and propane tanks

Household Items

• Books, other than Christian and children’s books
• DVDs, Blue Rays, and CDs
• VHS and cassette tapes
• Cornice boards with or without fabric
• Christmas yard ornaments and boxed Christmas trees before October (other Christmas items are accepted all year)
• Clothing and shoes with excessive wear
• Bedding with excessive wear or stains
• Window blinds

Other Items

• Building and remodeling supplies
• Liquids, solvents, paints, stains, oils, fuels, or the containers they are stored in
• Infant car seats and carriers
• Medical devices and supplies, such as wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, IV poles, and potty chairs
• Ceiling fans unless they are new and in original box
• Any other item too big or long to fit safely fit into the trailer or bed of a truck (trailer dimensions 12’l x 7’w x 7’h)
